Begin a rough draft in your spiral for the upcoming Setting mini-project. Use the sketch ideas that we compiled during ELA class (on the board). Begin to make notations on the draft of page numbers and exact text evidence. . . Assignment sheet and rubric will shared next week!

Z for Zachariah, Chapters 4-6 are due on Thursday with all vocabulary and Guided Reading Questions for those chapters in your reading spiral; there will be a quiz on Chapters 4-6 Friday after discussion on Thursday.
Be sure that you are perfecting your spiral notes for the novel along the way, annotating during ELA literary discussion and then adding to/revising your own spiral after.

Caesar's English Test 1 was today. You received Lesson 2: Classic Words today. The homework and flash cards will be due next Friday, 9/21, with the test.
Your homework for Classic Words must contain the word, definition, an illustration to help you remember the definition, and a sentence that shows proper usage of the word.
Next week, we will be collecting the reading spirals to check for your "Seventh Grade" work. Take some time to check and be sure that it is up-to-date, complete, and correct. You will receive a rubric next week to check your contents before turning it in for a grade.

Caesar's English Lesson 1 work is due tomorrow with a test on Lesson 1. The test will be literally 5 questions requiring you to write down the definition only of each stem. You will need to show me your flashcards (5) and 6-square activity for Lesson 1.
