*If you have been reading for 45" and are not finished, you may stop if you are getting frustrated. This is a challenge for some, but it will get much easier as you adjust to the genre. It will not get easier if you do not read : )

On a 3"x5" note card, identify a song that you know which relates to our theme, "Power." One side should have your complete heading with the name of song and title. The other should contain 3 bulleted pieces of text evidence (lyrics) that support the theme of "Power."

Begin a new unit in your reading spiral for "Power." Brainstorm "power" on the first page. Your brainstorm should be "exploding."
You should have posted your 4-paragraph "Stages . . ." response by today. If you did not, do so today; it will be 1 day late.
