We are taking the Reading end-of-year Performance Task today (Monday, 6/4).
You should have read The Giver Chapters 1-5. There will be a quiz on Chapters 1-5 Tuesday, following a discussion.
Chapters 6-10 are due Wednesday, so begin reading those chapters tonight. Expect a reading-check quiz on Chapters 6-10 Wednesday.
Chapters 11-15 will be due Friday. I will give you Thursday to read independently and silently during ELA period.
Be prepared for a quiz on Friday, Chapters 11-15.
Chapters 16-23 wil be due on Monday.
Your Blackout Poem is also due on that Monday, 6/11.

Complete any work that your group assigned as part of preparing for your group genocide project, which is due on a poster board on Friday. Refer to the rubric and assignment sheet that you received in class today.

Complete your individual Genocide poetry project (2 haikus/2 cinquains) on loose leaf paper. These must be found poems. You may not include any of your own words/phrases for these poems. . . due Wednesday.
